Rick Dunetz

Executive Director at The Side-Out Foundation

Rick Dunetz is the founder and executive director of The Side-Out foundation. His passion for volleyball and his role as a coach led him to create the Foundation in honor of his mother, Gloria, who lived with breast cancer for six years.

Rick has coached volleyball in his local community for 15 years. Currently, he is the head coach of the Oakton girls freshman volleyball team and assistant coach for the girls varsity volleyball team in Vienna, Virginia.

Things have been really hectic but we wanted to get something up for the last 3 tour stops.

Big South

Big South was…well…BIG. Not only was there a pink volleyball court, but we had a Wall of Courage. Pink was everywhere and the overall event raised close to $63,000. We sold more headband then in any other city….1200!

Lone Star Classic

Lone Star was not an official tour stop, but the folks in Texas did a nice job considering how quickly we pulled it together. Marie Bruce and staff were extremely accomodating and the gym was packed with Pink.
